A good blogging voice is rare in ACS! 

Up until now it has been largely made up of those who &#039;discovered the land&#039; together, not so much immigrants as first settlers. Many are survivors of the great &#039;drought&#039; of the dot com bust, and have great mentoring value.

But your restless energy of wanting to build a new world built on skills rather than academia alone is overdue! 

If &#039;professionalism&#039; means &#039;doing it better&#039; then please continue to promote a more professional, diverse, interesting digital world.

You are heard.
