Right! I think the effort that PASS goes to with its First-Timers is really good. More events should do similar.

I went to the TechEd in Dallas that year, light on SQL, but not bad overall. My biggest issue then was not really knowing what to do at a conference – something I didn’t learn until 10+ years later. 🙂
